Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this conference, participants should be able to describe methods for incorporating writing into medical education, patient care, and/or professional development schemas; explain the role that writing exercises can play in such activities; show improvement in creative or reflective writing; and review the mechanics of writing for publication.

Target Audience

Healthcare professionals with an interest in writing and the humanities.

CREDIT:  The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine designates this live course for a maximum of 24.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
