Continuing Medical Education Credits for Physicians

Physician:  The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of  27 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  Credits are broken down as follows:

Pre-conference Workshop

Full time attendance of a pre-conference workshop (October 11) will award 6 hours.

Main Conference

Full time attendance (main conference only) will award 21 hours.

  • October 12: 8.50 hrs
  • October 13: 8.75 hrs
  • October 14: 3.75 hrs

Continuing Education Units for Nurses

The University of Iowa College of Nursing is an Iowa Board of Nursing approved provider, Number 1. Program number 17-284-93 has been assigned.

Pre-conference Workshop

Full time attendance of a pre-conference workshop (October 11) will award 7.2 contact hours.

Main Conference

Full time attendance (main conference only) will award 24.31 contact hours:

  • October 12: 9.8 contact hours
  • October 13: 10.1 contact hours
  • October 14: 4.5 contact hours
