Examined Life Conference — Registration is Open!

Hello!

We are thrilled to announce that registration is open for the 2021 Examined Life Conference! The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine will host our 15th annual conference focusing on the links between medicine and the arts virtually again this year, featuring a la carte registration – this means you can build your own individualized conference program.  Our hope is to leave you with a new appreciation not only of your art, but of your work (and even your struggles).

A-la-carte Registration: Due to concerns about the novel coronavirus and the Delta variant, 2021 will feature a series of virtual sessions, and you’ll be able to build your own program by selecting individual events to attend. Opening weekend (Oct. 21, 22, and 23) will feature 19 sessions! More sessions are available throughout October and you can view the full program here!

We’re also thrilled that our featured speaker event with the incredible Gina Frangello and Emily Rapp Black will be free and open to the public. Please tune in via Zoom at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 21st for this exciting event!

We’re looking forward to seeing you all online, and stay tuned as more events are announced!
