Examined Life Conference Registration is OPEN!
At long last, registration for the 2016 Examined Life Conference is open! If you haven’t already, do visit our program page, and then register here.
Again, our featured presenters are Empathy Exams author Leslie Jamison, Columbia University’s Program in Narrative Medicine Executive Director Rita Charon, and transplant surgeon and author Byers “Bud” Shaw. And of course, we’ll have our fantastic breakout presentations.
New this year is our Examined Life Conference mobile app. Once you register, we’ll ask you to install it on your iOS or Android device, and set up a profile. The app allows us to make several important improvements:
- Program information will be up-to-date, even during the conference itself. Room and schedule changes will be published in real time in both the app and on our website.
- Real-time notifications are now possible, allowing us to give you critical information during the conference.
- Connect your social media accounts so you can post your photos, reactions, and reflections.
- Cost and waste will be kept low by minimizing printed conference materials (and give you more room in your bag for books!)
