Back again this year are our popular pre-conference workshops. These are long-format, intensive sessions designed to build your writing skills in poetry and prose, and increase the enjoyment you get out of your personal and professional life.

For instance, Serena J. Fox, MD, returns to facilitate a workshop that will result in poetry that “dares to advocate for change or scrutinize our leaders.” Carol Scott-Conner, MD, PhD, will help her attendees “explore techniques for expanding an anecdote into a story, with particular reference to the medical environment.” And Margaret Reges, MFA is back to show her group how it’s possible to find the time to write, even if there is none.

To find out more, and to register, visit the pre-conference workshops page. And if you have any questions at all, we’re here to help.

Hope to see you there!

Jason T. Lewis, Conference Director
and
Dave Etler, Conference Coordinator
